Sales Projects
Definition
Sales Partners are able to use Vern services trough Sales Projects. A Sales Project is basically a group of different insurance products made available for the Sales Partner.
Sales Partners are assigned to Sales Projects. This means that they will be able to use all the insurance products inside the project. One Sales Partner can access multiple Sales Projects.
Each Sales Project has a unique API key. If you try to access a Sales Project that is not assigned to you, they API will always return with error.
Policyholder
For each Sales Project, the policyholder party can be defined. Currently we support two different options for this:
- Customer as the policyholder: the insured customer is also the policyholder of the policy.
- Sales Partner as the policyholder: the customer is only insured in the policy and the policyholder is the Sales Partner (this version is often referred as group policies)
